Finnish Elcoteq Expands Manufacturing Facility in Dongguan, China

Finnish EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Service) provider Elcoteq recently finished expanding its manufacturing facility in Dongguan, China, according to the Nikkei News. Operating with a workforce of 2,500, Elcoteq's Dongguan facility offers manufacturing services for communications products - including mobile phones, LCD driver modules, and base station modules - at both box-build and sub-assembly levels. Its total floor space has been doubled from 13,000 to about 26,000 square meters, and the clean room upgraded.
